The Nigeria Shippers Council (NSC) are due to implement a mandatory Advanced Cargo Declaration Scheme on 17th of November 2015. The international cargo tracking note will aid with the monitoring of movement of Nigerian cargoes.
We are pleased to announce that the Ghana Shippers Authority have officially postponed indefinitely the implementation of the ASHI system.
Ghana Shippers Authority (GSA) is due to implement Advanced Shipment Information (ASHI) on March 1st, a system which will be mandatory for all shipments to Ghana including transit cargo. Bills of Lading will each have to be covered by a validated ASHI document, which will increase costs.

We wish to announce that after 41 years of service with Jonen, Paul Newman retired on 31st July 2014. Paul joined the Company in 1973 and became Director in 1986. During his 41 years with the Company, Paul saw many developments and changes both within Jonen and the Shipping Industry. During these changes he maintained the exemplary service levels that have been associated with our organisation since its inception.
